I checked out the promo hoping for a decent deal, but it felt weak. Even with the discount, the prices were still too high for me...

The return policy just feels one-sided to me. It seems like the buyer ends up taking most of the risk, even when something doesn’t fit right. With kids clothes, that’s really frusterating because sizing can be all over the place. I’d be careful ordering unless you’re totally sure it’ll work

I wore this outfit one time and already noticed the stitching looked rough. Some of the seams were uneven, and there were loose threads hanging out right away, especially near the hem.

for what I paid, I expected much better quality. It looked really cute online, but in person it felt poorly finished and not like something that will hold up. Not a good value in my opinion.

For what they charge, I expected things to be a little more consistent and thoughtful. I’m not saying it was all terrible, but I don’t feel confident ordering again anytime soon. Mostly just disappointed, honestly.....

It’s a really cute outfit and looked nice on my kid, but after wearing it for a little while, they kept saying it felt itchy. The fit also seemed kind of stiff, so it just wasn’t something they wanted to keep on for long. Probably fine for a quick photo or short outing, but not great for all-day wear..

I really thought this would be soft and comfy for my kid, like something they could wear to daycare, around the house, on a quick grocery run, or even just to play in the backyard. But the fabric felt kind of rough and stiff, almost like it hadn’t been broken in at all. It wasn’t cozy like pajamas, not stretchy like play clothes, and not soft like the other kids’ outfits we usually buy. My kid kept tugging at it, complained about how it felt, and didn’t want to keep it on for long. I was disappointed because I expected something much more kid-friendly.

I ordered a shrimp and grits outfit because the photos made it look really bright, the fabric looked like it would be thicker and nicer. When it arrived, it just didn’t match what I thought I was getting. The colors were more dull, the fit looked different, and the small details from the picture were barely noticeable.
Maybe I just ended up with a bad one, but it felt like I bought something based on a super edited photo. For the price, I expected it to look a lot closer to what was shown. Disappointed and I probably won’t order again.

A few days later, I got an email saying one item wasn’t available, and then another from the same order was out too. The timing was terrible because by then, the size I needed from another store was already gone.

I understand inventory mistakes happen, but this was really frustrating. I wish they’d update the site more accurately before letting people check out, especially when waiting a few days makes it too late to buy somewhere else.

I ordered my kid’s usual size and right away I could tell it wasn’t going to work. It fit way too small, and the size chart was no help at all.

The clothes are cute, so that part was dissapointing. I had to email them to get it sorted out, which just added extra time and hassle. I’d probably order again, but they really need to double check orders better.

I reached out to shrimpandgritskids.com about my order and expected at least a basic update within a reasonable amount of time. Instead, I waited several days and still didn’t get a real answer. When someone finally replied, it was really short and didn’t actually solve anything. I ended up sending another message and still didn’t get anything helpful back. For me, good communication is a basic standard when ordering online, so this was really frustrating. I don’t think I’d order from them again.

Just a heads-up for anyone thinking about ordering: my refund took way longer than it should have. I returned my order and ended up having to email them more than once just to find out what was going on. The replies I got were vague, so I never really knew when I’d actually get my money back. It did finally come through, but the waiting and chasing made the whole thing really frustrating. Definitely not a great experience
